## Check-in

Exhibitor check-in will begin at **11:00 AM on Friday**. Upon check-in, each exhibitor will be issued **up to six (6) exhibitor badges**. Badge quantities are limited, so exhibitors must notify **Kaye** at [kaye@tabooshows.com](mailto:kaye@tabooshows.com) in advance with the exact number of badges required. Additional badges may not be available on-site.

The show floor is dimly lit. We strongly encourage exhibitors to bring lighting for their booths to create a bright and inviting display. You may order power using the forms in this kit, or bring your own battery-powered lighting or power banks.

## Health forms

Vendors providing **personal services** at theToronto Taboo Show (including, but not limited to tattooing, piercing, microblading, and spa or aesthetic treatments) are subject to approval by the **The Peel Region** and must comply with all applicable regulations.

## Parking

Parking at the venue is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no prearranged vendor parking spots for this year.

## Promotional tickets

Promotional tickets will be sent to exhibitors **one week prior to the show**. These tickets may be used to invite friends, family, and customers to attend the event.

Please note that **promotional tickets will not be issued if a deposit has not been made**. Exhibitors must be fully deposit-compliant in order to receive promotional tickets.

### Where can I park?

Yes. The show floor is **dimly lit**, and proper booth lighting is strongly encouraged. Power may be ordered through **Showtime**, or exhibitors may use their own **power banks or battery-operated lighting**.

### Does my booth come with a table, chairs, or power?
No. Tables, chairs, and power are **not included with your booth** unless previous arrangements were made with your sales representative. Exhibitors are welcome to bring their own tables and chairs or order rentals and power through the show’s service providers.

## Good to know

### **BEWARE OF SCAMS**

While scams are not common at our shows, they can happen. We encourage all exhibitors to stay alert and take precautions when processing transactions.

In the past, individuals have attempted to alter transaction amounts on payment terminals when given access to the machine. To help protect yourself and your business:

- Keep control of your payment terminal during the entire transaction.
- Be cautious with high-value purchases or transactions above the tap limit.
- Pay attention to unusually large purchases, especially if the customer shows little concern about the total cost.
- Keep your cash box, till, payment terminal, and personal belongings in a secure location.
- Use PINs or passcodes to prevent unauthorized changes to your payment terminal or settings.
- Always confirm the transaction amount before completing the sale.
- Stay aware of who is in your booth and what they are doing.

### **RECENT SCAM ATTEMPTS**

Recently we have had our vendors targeted via the exhibitor listing claiming that they know the attendance data and are trying to sell it to vendors. This information is 100% FALSE. There has not been a data breach in showpass nor could they obtain from a third party source. The information they are trying to sell is false. Please be wary and DO NOT purchase anyything or provide any information to these third-party attempts.

Scams are uncommon, but staying observant can help prevent them. Please take appropriate precautions to protect yourself, your staff, and your business throughout the show.

## **Exhibitor Rules & Regulations**

### **FULL SHOW PARTICIPATION**

Early move-out is strictly prohibited. Exhibitors must remain fully operational until the show officially closes and attendees have exited. Packing up early disrupts the event and may affect future participation.

### **SLANDER & DEFAMATION**

General Character and/or Company slights, abuse of any Taboo Show Staff or insults of any kind will not be tolerated. Any exhibitor responsible will have their exhibit space cancelled (non-refundable) from the Show.

### **CODE OF CONDUCT**

Show Management is committed to creating a safe environment for all attendees, exhibitors, artists, performers and staff. All cases are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Limits can be violated deliberately, or through poor communication, misunderstandings, technical accidents, lack of knowledge, or lack of experience. If you experience or witness any sexual harassment, verbal/physical abuse, harassment or bullying, please get in touch with Show Management.

### **ALCOHOL & NUDITY**

Alcohol is strictly prohibited within exhibitor booths, and any exhibitor found with outside liquor will be required to leave the premises. In accordance with facility regulations, full nudity is not permitted at any time. All booth staff, models, and performers must remain appropriately covered throughout the event. These rules ensure a safe, respectful, and compliant environment for all attendees and exhibitors.

### **SAMPLES, SOUVENIIRS & SOLICTING**

Soliciting of business and/or distribution of samples and souvenirs will not be permitted in the aisles, the parking lots or in another exhibitor’s booth, but must be confined to the exhibitor’s own space.
